Coalition to Remove Tinubu Bound to Fail, Wike Says

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has dismissed the viability of any planned political coalition aimed at unseating President Bola Tinubu in 2027, declaring it “bound to fail.”

Wike made the remark on Wednesday during the inauguration of Arterial Road N16 to Arterial Road N20 and other connecting roads in the Katampe District of Abuja.

Praising the President’s performance, Wike said the tangible achievements of the Tinubu administration have effectively dismantled opposition efforts.

“Your good work has killed the coalition,” Wike said. “I thought there would truly be a coalition, but it is bound to fail—and it has already failed.”

The Minister also expressed gratitude to President Tinubu for dedicating 10 days to commissioning various projects in the FCT, signaling what he described as a strong commitment to infrastructure development.
