Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike Women Association (MOUAUWA) has kickstarted it’s project for the year 2025.
The Association known for establishing projects beneficial to the university community and society at large made this known during it’s International Women’s Day celebration held on the 18th of March, 2025 at the Anyim Pius Anyim auditorium, MOUAU.
The 2025 project is highlighted to be a shop around the sambisa area of the university and is expected to ease the stress of staff and students from covering long distances to purchase their needs. In a show of support and encouragement, the first block laying of the projects foundation was carried out by the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof Maduebibisi Ofo Iwe.
Also note that in 2024, MOUAUWA embarked on a mission to renovate the university’s daycare centre which was built 14 years ago. The project was realized as scheduled and was presented during the associations August 2024 outing service.
